My Avatar and Me

I have been on Second life since 2007, and yes I was another avatar before I became Babette, That avatar is on Secondlife Witness protection program.
One thing about Second life is that you can reinvent yourself.. So Babette Upshaw is my main avatar. I do have alts but they are mostly for modeling and talking pictures.
I have come to love my alter ego Babette. Through her I have met some wonderful people who I have been blessed to have know and kept dear in my hear.
I do my photography and I do my Shapes. I sometime builds when the urges hit me.
I love the fact that I can shop for clothes without really spending a dime LOL. Freebies are great :)
Through her I got the nerve to sing on stage.

Tomorrow Round 2 Master Stylist

Ok tomorrow is Round 2 Eliminations round and the theme is Victorinian Tea Party I have to admit I am pretty excited and scared at the same time. I still feel like i cant walk and chew gum and my computer wants to do crazy stuff when I try to walk hahah NO its not the operator LOL  But I am very excited about tomorrow. :)

Saturday Fashion Show Alba Designs

Went to the fashion show yesturday and all I can say was I was blown away by the designs.
All I said was I want I want I want I want...
 Alba Designs can be found on Marketplace. 
and Wulla got to be in the video where they pick 6 models from the audience.  If you attend Saturday Fashion shows that are held at 3pm SLT you too maybe in the videos. :)

Good Morning, My name is Babette Upshaw and I excited to be in the Master Stylist Audition 2, Today Audition is Spring and when You think of spring you think if new beginning, everything is green, flowers are in bloom and butterflies flutter around.. The Outfit I chose is a simple Strapless teal color dress design by Sharodie Nightfire Of Sharodie Design, the outfit is called Gypsy Roma, I love how the tea length skirt flows when you walk its almost like walking on air. I accent this outfit by adding DbS Jewerly Butterfly Garden necklace and Earrings. Shoes By Guti Extravagant that I borrow from another outfit. Makeup and Nails by Noya and hair by Truth. I feel this outfit gives a good feeling about Spring being in the air and for new beginning, such as beginning my training this month at UCWS.

I have come across a great designer who Outfits are not only beautiful but very affordable specially when your on a budget. Sharodie's Design is that Designer. I am the type of shopper who likes to get more for her money. Sure there some outfits that cost a arm and a leg but not Shardies and you dont have to worry about the Noobie looks to it.
I joke and say I am the Queen of Freebies cause I cant see paying L$$ for an outfit. Cept my wedding dress when and if I ever get married then.
But Sharodie;s Design could well sell for 500L or more easlily but she sales them for less then 100L.
So instead of getting one out fit for 100 you can easily get 4 Outfits. :)
